MCA gathers colleagues to participate in Port Cleanup
At the end of September, MCA took part in the Port Cleanup, organised by Port of Antwerp-Bruges.
MCA called on all companies on the site to gather volunteers to join forces for an afternoon of litter cleanup along the Scheldt.
On 23 December, 66 volunteers gathered at The Hull to clean up the Scheldt quays. Led by David Manaigre, Head of MCA, the groups were divided and everyone set out. One group headed towards Port House and the Hydrogen Refuelling Station of CMB.TECH, another group went to ‘t Steen, another group spread out across the southern quays and the last group headed towards Nieuw Zuid. Together with CMB.TECH, Exmar, TAJO, Officers on Watch, AMI, Anglo-Eastern, Seaman Solutions, Seafar and DNV, MCA set off.
The team spirit during the Port Cleanup was great. Everyone was so motivated and enthusiastic to make a difference in our community.
I loved feeling the togetherness and purpose during the cleanup. It was a great way to bond with colleagues while doing something positive for the planet.
In total, MCA filled two large waste containers with litter. Thank you to all colleagues for doing their part!
